There was a real excitement in the air and it gave a glimpse of what game days will be like starting this Sunday. The Atlanta Beat takes on New Jersey’s Sky Blue FC at KSU Soccer Stadium Sunday, May 9th @ 7:00 pm. Currently over 5,000 of the 8,300 tickets have been sold and the front office is working hard to sell the game out. Continue reading KSU Soccer Stadium Grand Opening The Atlanta Beat lost last Sunday against the Washington Freedom 3-1. The Atlanta defense allowed 13 shots on goal in this game. No other team has allowed more then 14 shots in both games combined. If you add the 11 shots Philly had in week 1 that takes the total to 24.
