you would be suprised what the fanbase of a team in atlanta would bring you have to keep in mind that there are thousands of people that play soccer throughout the state that would be glad to go watch an MLS team play in atlanta

atlanta is a perfect city but the fanbase is horrible. i think atlanta is still a good city because there is no other southern team past D.C. its the next big city and tampa and miami lost their teams so they dont deserve one

Finally! Hopefully, more to come. Montreal isn't having a great season before moving to the MLS.

Last year the NCAA changed some of the rules regarding eligibility for players. I've discussed some of the Reserves players getting called up for a game with the first team and not one has said anything about it being a problem. If you check the Georgia Perimeter website a lot of Reserves players came from there. I'm not sure how many are still enrolled in school and will be playing in the Fall.

I like your article. I think with Ciaran and Junior back from injury our midfield is going to be improved. Also, one thing to consider when mentioning the possibility of moving up players from the reserves is what their status is. Some of the reserve players are still in college (or high school). For instance, from what I found online about Tornubari Nyonebue, it said that he was a sophomore last season, so playing pro would make him ineligible to return back to college. I don't know if that is a factor, but it's something to consider.

Was it Moussa Toure at the end with the shot? I know all the game write-ups attribute the shot to him, but for some reason I remember that it was Junior Sandoval. But maybe I need to get my eyes checked.

"the inaction shown this far into the season is bordering on criminal". Bit harsh, we've only played nine games. To your credit you do identify some players to look at and that's always good input. But I disagree this is a development-league level team. We're not shipping tons of goals - considering our results, our goals against is not far off other teams. Our obvious problem area is up front. Sandoval returning from injury is positive. Like it or not these things take time. As a fan, I'm still enjoying it as I'm getting to meet and know others around us.
